about

I think I remember this show. I was on a long tour opening for Frank Black & the Catholics. My great pals Scott and Dave were in the Catholics. I was just kind of starting out solo and hadn’t played to any big audiences like that. Some nights were better than others. Each night I would start my set solo and then (hopefully) Scott and Dave would come out and we’d rock. I drove all over the place, went to a bunch of towns I’d never been to. Chico. I got a little unbalanced but that may be subjective. Playing with Charles et al was entertaining and educational. He does the job every night. I love playing in San Francisco and Slim’s is/was one of the best clubs anywhere.
